Frequently asked questions
A trading journal is a structured record of every trade you take — entry and exit, position size, risk, stop loss, the setup you traded and the reasoning behind it. Kept consistently, it turns individual trades into a data set you can analyse for patterns in both your strategy and your behaviour.
Trakfinity is a trading journal and trading performance tracker. You log every trade with notes, screenshots and checklist results, and it turns that history into analytics, a discipline score and AI-written reviews of your execution.
Record entry and exit price, direction, position size, stop loss and take profit, risk per trade, the market and timeframe, the session, the strategy or setup, screenshots of the chart, your reasoning, your emotional state and the outcome after fees. Trakfinity prompts for each of these so nothing important is left out.
Look past individual results at the aggregate: win rate, average win and average loss, profit factor, expectancy, R multiples, drawdown depth and the shape of your equity curve. Trakfinity calculates these from your logged trades and breaks them down by session, symbol, setup and day.
You set your own trading rules — such as a maximum number of trades per day, a cool-off after a loss or a maximum risk per trade — and Trakfinity checks them every trading day. Those results feed your discipline score (see the Discipline section above), so a winning day where you broke your rules still lowers the score. Grades: A+ = 90–100, A = 80–89, B = 70–79, C = 60–69, D = 50–59, F = below 50.
Futures, forex, stocks, indices and spot crypto. You can run several accounts side by side, each with its own base currency, and Trakfinity converts everything into one view.
Yes. Keep each evaluation or funded account separate and track drawdown, daily loss and profit target progress against the rules you have been given. Trakfinity is an independent journal and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or partnered with any prop firm, and it cannot guarantee the outcome of a challenge.
Yes. Export a CSV from your broker or spreadsheet, map the columns once, and import your full history in minutes. Manual logging takes a few seconds per trade.
It reads your own logged trades. The AI writes a plain-English review of entry, management and exit, points out repeated mistakes across your history, and answers questions about your performance in a chat. It does not forecast markets or tell you what to trade next.
Yes. Upload a chart screenshot to AI Trade Review and a vision model reads the instrument, timeframe, direction, entry, stop loss, take profit and exit printed on the image, compares them with the trade logged in your journal, and writes a structured review of entry timing, trade management and exit quality. You can correct anything it misread and re-run the analysis, and it reviews your past execution rather than predicting the market.
Use the blue Trade button in the header, sidebar or centre of the mobile task bar. The live trade screen takes your checklist, direction, entry, stop and risk — as a percentage or a fixed amount in your currency — calculates position size, and saves it as an open position. Exits, notes, screenshots and the AI review can be added once the trade is closed.

No. Trakfinity analyses your own past execution and behaviour. It never provides financial advice, signals or recommendations to buy or sell, and no tool can make trading profitable — trading carries risk of loss.
